Do lessons run through the school holidays?
No, we do not run lessons during school holidays including half-terms. However, you have the option of continuing classes to prepare for exams. Also, I conduct exam-oriented workshops if needed.
Do you run short-term booster sessions?
Yes, I offer short-term booster sessions when needed. We can tailor the sessions according to the specific needs of an individual child, as some of them don’t need long term tutoring.
Will the classes work if the student is not preparing for 11+?
Yes, the sessions are targeted towards strengthening and consolidating English skills and work as mentioned for KS2, Foundation and Consolidation.
Do you cover Creative Writing?
Yes I am one of the very few tutors who emphasizes on Creative Writing. Students learn to write essays with a beautiful vocabulary.

In-person Face-to-face Classes
When should my child start tutoring for 11+ exams?
The best time to start tutoring for the 11 plus is in Year 4. This will allow your child sufficient time to cover all subject areas to the required level without the stress and panic which comes with starting later.
Our success rate of over 92% is usually achieved by those children who have attended tuition from Year 4.
How are the sessions delivered?
I conduct individual or paired sessions in person at my residence Pinner, London.
When do the sessions commence?
The sessions usually begin in September, with a fresh start for students aiming to crack the 11+ exams. However, the admission to the classes is flexible depending up on available. Please get in touch to find out a suitable session plan.
What is the duration of each session?
1 hour of focused teaching. Each class typically lasts for one hour, though this can vary slightly depending on the topic. For example, if we have covered complex ideas that require further discussion we may run a few minutes over to allow for questions.
Do the sessions cover all the work needed if my child is targeting multiple schools?
The course is designed to fully prepare your child for all grammar and private independent schools and for all examination boards including GL, CEM and ISEB.
We teach to the high levels required for entry to the top grammar and private schools including scholarship level in Year 6.
Are group sessions available in-person?
No, Group Sessions are only available online, however during term-breaks i.e. Summer and Winter breaks in-person workshops are also conducted, targeted towards various aspects of English Proficiency.
Online Classes
How are the sessions delivered?
For the ease of learning I also conduct, group online classes with limited seats, maximum 5 students in each group in a secure Zoom Meeting environment.
How do the group online sessions work?
Students need to log in the online Zoom Meeting link provided to start with the session. Maximum 4-5 students are enrolled in a group online session to ensure focused teaching and learning.
How many students are there in a group session?
5 students at the most will form a group, providing personal attention to each student throughout all online sessions.
Are individual sessions conducted online?
Yes. You can choose the mode of the session delivery to be either online or Face-to-face in person according to your convenience.
